A proposal for the Peace Corps Commemorative Foundation
The Outlook seeks to embody the ideals of the Peace Corps through the design of a place that creates an open-ended, collective experience embedded in the everyday.
Composed of two elements — an undulating path and an expansive groundscape — the Outlook is shaped by the relationship between the two and creates opportunities for exchange in the spaces between.
This reciprocity recognizes one of the core tenets of the Peace Corps — that we live in a connected world where the effects of one action are experienced far beyond its origin point…
…and consequently, that powerful change can be effected one individual at a time.
